Mainstreaming the disabled
Program for mainstreaming the individuals with disability 
in disaster management was implemented in Lekhaani, Resha and Singaana VDC in alliance with Handicap International in 2009. 43 individuals are directly and 2000 indirectly benefited from the program. Workshop on mainstreaming the individuals with disability in disaster management, support for making the school disabled-friendly, demonstration of street-drama and distribution of educational materials for 500 individuals are the major activities carried out under the program.
